Booking Policy


Eligibility:

  • TBuddy services are available exclusively for transmasculine individuals aged 18 years and older.

  • When registering, you must confirm your age to ensure eligibility.

International Clients:

  • If you are located outside of the United States, all text and phone appointments will be conducted through WhatsApp. Please ensure you have WhatsApp downloaded and ready to use before your scheduled appointment.

​

Missed Appointments:

  • You are permitted up to two missed appointments without penalty.

  • After two missed appointments, you may be required to wait at least 30 days before scheduling another session.

  • Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance to avoid missed appointments.

​

Rescheduling and Cancellations:

  • If you need to reschedule, appointments can be changed up to 24 hours before the scheduled time.

  • If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, the appointment will be considered missed unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Communication:

  • Please ensure all contact information, including email and phone number, is accurate at the time of registration to receive appointment reminders.

Every time you access TBuddy services, you will be presented with the current terms, conditions, and privacy statement for your acceptance. You must agree to any modified terms to continue using the service.

Nature and Use of Information Provided Through This Service

YOUR PARTICIPATION IN TBUDDY DOES NOT CONSTITUTE PROFESSIONAL MENTAL HEALTH CARE OR TREATMENT, NOR DOES IT CREATE A CONFIDENTIAL RELATIONSHIP (E.G., THERAPIST-PATIENT, ATTORNEY-CLIENT). TBUDDY IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL OR MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES. IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING A MEDICAL OR MENTAL HEALTH EMERGENCY, CALL 911 OR CONTACT A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL IMMEDIATELY.

TBuddy and its employees, volunteers, or agents are not responsible for any decisions you make while using this service, including decisions related to seeking or not seeking professional care, or changing or discontinuing any current treatment based on information provided during your TBuddy appointment. You assume all risks related to your use of the service.

TBuddy and its employees, volunteers, or agents bear no liability for actions taken or not taken by you or a third party based on your participation. You agree to indemnify TBuddy and hold it harmless from any damages arising from information provided during your session. Without limiting the above, TBuddy is not liable for any special, incidental, consequential, or indirect damages.

No Warranties

TBuddy services are provided "as is" and "as available." TBuddy expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the service meeting your expectations, being uninterrupted, timely, secure, confidential, or error-free.
